Job Description
Galileo Scientific, a leader in the sale and rental of new and refurbished scientific
instrumentation, is seeking a Sales Specialist with solid knowledge of scientific
equipment and proven sales experience. The ideal candidate will combine technical and
commercial skills to drive sales in sectors such as research, education, healthcare, and
quality control, both in domestic and international markets.
Responsabilidades principales:
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients, providing technical advice on equipment solutions.
- Present and demonstrate new and refurbished scientific equipment to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
- Negotiate prices and contractual terms, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to post-sales support.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitors.
- Provide feedback to the product team regarding customer needs and equipment improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in sales, preferably in scientific instrumentation or related technical fields.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and their applications, especially in analytical chemistry, biology, and industrial laboratories.
- Ability to explain complex technical features to both technical and non-technical buyers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Availability to travel occasionally at national and international level.
- University degree in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biology, engineering) is preferred.
